Every Christmas I'd get the Oor Wullie or The Broons sent from Scotland and I'd religiously read them from from cover to cover, all year. I loved them and how they helped understand my grandparents that wee bit better. Here's a great video about one of the other D.C Thomson's publications I enjoyed as a kid - The Beano. The mid-season finale of the Walking Dead was depressing.
