Taiyo Matsumoto has a new exhibition of work at Tobichi. Around 10 pieces, all beautiful as always.The lucky people at angouleme comic festival next year have got a great exhibition of Matsumoto-sensei's work to view, I'm a bit jealous. Anyway, I took these photos last night. It's getting cold and wet in Tokyo these days, bundle up and keep warm. (Original Instagram post is here with link to location of gallery)

BadaSS Babe (Bonten Taro) at the Printers!

We'll receive the Bonten books 22nd December so we will probably spend up to Christmas mailing them out- Happy New Year!
The book is 3 colour print (red/blue/black) + full colour cover and dust jacket. 188 pages inc. bio'. Thankfully the printer made a mistake in the Yukio Mishima story on the first print run which allowed us to get assistance from Ryan Holmberg on the editing and tightening up some things. Being a start up we are still continuing to learn and make mistakes. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all that. This book is very good, you should buy it so here's a direct link to Badass Babe by Bonten Taro.

Tadao Tsuge - Tale of the beast is now shipping!

We have started shipping our latest book pick up a copy of Tadao Tsuge's Tale of the beast.

We printed in Garo blue (old school colour inks) and I think it looks really cool.

We are also very grateful to Misuhiro Asakawa for writing the epilogue.

Tale of the Beast is a A 140 page book by the Gekiga master Tadao Tsuge. A5. Originally published in Comic Baku in December 1987.
