トロント・コミック・アート・フェスティバル（TCAF）は毎年5月にカナダのトロントで開催される、コミック、漫画、グラフィック・ノベルの祭典です。国際的なイベントで、カナダのコミックを展示紹介すると共にカナダの人々に世界中のコミック・アートを体験してもらうという目的のもとに開催されています。

2003年より、TCAFではカナダ国内外のコミックアーティストの作品を、公式ポスターや宣伝美術として発表してきました。
ギャラリー白線では、初めてこれまでに発表されたすべてのポスターと宣伝美術を、原画や制作過程のスケッチとともに展示する展覧会を企画します。
カナダ人作家からは、Marc Bell, Darwyn Cooke, Kagan McLeod, Bryan Lee O’Malley, Seth,  Maurice Vellekoop、日本人作家では、こなみかなた、松本大洋、田亀源五郎、その他の海外作家として Charles Burns, Evan Dorkin, Dustin Harbin, James Jean等の幅広いコミックアーティストを特集します。

また本展では、本展より選抜したポスター、展覧会図録に加えて、同時期に開催される「TCAF in Tokyo」の参加作家の原画、プリント、写真等の作品を販売致します。

Since 2003, The Toronto Comic Arts Festival has commissioned new and original pieces by Canadian and international cartoonists to serve as the official posters and promotional artwork of the Festival. For the first time, the complete range of posters and promotional artwork will be exhibited alongside a selection of the original drawings and pencil sketches for the material. The show will feature original TCAF promotional art by Canadians Marc Bell, Darwyn Cooke, Bryan Lee O’Malley, Seth, and Maurice Vellekoop, and international cartoonists Evan Dorkin, James Jean, and Taiyo Matsumoto.

In addition, this show will feature pieces from all participating TCAF in Tokyo artists, and this range of originals, prints, and photographs will be made available for sale at the gallery.
